The Sustainability + Development Program
COMMUNITY. DATA. CLIMATE. DESIGN.
Developing the skills, the community and the confidence to support change for good in the global environment.
A boutique masters program, S+DP builds on a 3 course core with a customized mix of coursework; flexibility for full or part-time learning; course hours designed to fit around work / internships; and both remote, in-person and hybrid learning options; leading to an individual hands-on capstone project. Project-based learning focuses on collaborative solutions for a variety of contexts - urban: South Dallas, rural: Taos, New Mexico, international: Tanzania & Rwanda, and in a student’s own physical context.

“The interdisciplinary, hands-on nature of this program allows self-directed students from diverse backgrounds to integrate new practical knowledge with their existing skills. We centered this program around allowing both the academic freedom, the community and site-based context, and the project-based specificity to really make things happen.”
